This photo shows a wonderful carved Emilian Wehrle flute clock before restoration.
You can see the case needed quite a bit of carving restoration to the tail on the squirrel, the right of the pediment top and small leaves and vines throughout.
The trumpeter doors were also missing.
The numerals were not correct and the hands were actually resin, made to look old.
The movement also needed a complete mechanical and musical overhaul.
