This letter was acquired recently,but we had know about its existence for nearly a decade. Many years ago,we were contacted by a collector wanting help with the translation of the letter.

He had purchased a Wehrle trumpeter clock in Germany, and to his surprise this letter was found folded up in the back of the case of the clock.

Through a contact we had in Germany, we had the old German script translated to English.

Five years latter we were approached by this grateful collector with an offer to add this special letter to our museum.

We not only have an interest in the clocks, but also the paper items that document their history.
